What To Expect:

Since many of our projects are centered around aging underground utilities, it became important to look for a reliable solution that would save these deteriorating pipes rather than spending time and money to replace them. Walker Building Group’s trenchless approaches to pipe rehabilitation provide cost-effective solutions to this problem.

PVC Fold & form (12” - 42” diameter pipes)

WBG’s TDOT-approved PVC pipelining process is structurally sound and conforms tightly to the contours of the host pipe to prevent infiltration of any kind, including invasive tree roots. It is also environmentally friendly—no chemicals are required for installation… just steam! After installation, no harmful gases or emissions are emitted into the environment and the material does not contain any water-soluble chemicals.

spray applied liner (42” and greater diameter pipes)

WBG’s spray applied liner (SAPL) pipelining process utilizes a TDOT-approved cementitious blend that is either hand-applied or spin cast directly to the host pipe. Spray applied liner also prevents infiltration and provides structural integrity to the existing host pipe.

benefits

WBG’s pipe rehabilitation solutions save time and limit impacts. From decreasing traffic interference to mitigating existing utility conflicts, this approach reduces site disturbance, homeowner inconveniences and other major impacts that invariably occur when digging and replacing aging infrastructure. Valuable time is also saved by expediting project timelines. Leveraging our TDOT-approved PVC fold and form and SAPL trenchless approaches, WBG can transform worn out circular and elliptical CMP, RCP, and other pipe material of various sizes by using environmentally friendly, structurally sound materials that prevent infiltration and are made in the USA.
