Meet Walker Bloodworth

Walker Bloodworth began his career as a self-employed carpenter while still in high school.  He built his first house at age 18, got his real estate license at age 20, purchased a Re/Max franchise at age 25, which he later sold, was awarded a HUD contract to sell hundreds of foreclosures, and still maintains his real estate license today.  All of this experience eventually lead to full-time general contracting where he quickly learned how to manage multiple subcontractors, suppliers, crews and projects.

In 2003, he founded Walker Building Group, LLC, (WBG).  At its inception, the company focused on building homes but then evolved into building infrastructure projects in the Metro Nashville area.  After the devastating flood in May, 2010, WBG helped to construct or manage over 300 FEMA flood restoration projects in Davidson County for Metro Stormwater, Metro Parks, and Metro Public Works.  Since then, WBG has constructed water line installations, storm sewer installations, and site development projects for both governmental agencies and private owners alike.

Walker has created a company that operates from the belief that honesty, hard work, quality, exceptional customer service, and a strong team atmosphere will build a long-lasting company.  Because of this philosophy, he has built a solid reputation in the industry as well as the utmost respect from his employees.
