I-40 Exit Ramp 24″ Water Main Relocation
About This Project
The I-40 Exit Ramp to Church Street Proposed 24” Water Main Relocation Project consisted of 174 LF of 24” RJDIP and connection to existing 24” PCCP using adaptor. The small but challenging project was built in the busy downtown environment, under a strict schedule. Work was done during nights/weekends and in winter conditions in order to get the job done in time and with minimal impact to the public. Traffic control and coordination with TDOT was key, as the two connections points were in the middle of highly traveled lanes of traffic, 13th Ave at Broadway and the I-40/Church St Exit ramp.
