Sawyer Brown Road Roadway Reconstruction

About This Project

This roadway reconstruction project is located along a portion of Sawyer Brown Road that is built on a hillside in West Nashville. It involved repairing a roadway slide created by soil movement in the vicinity of a 24” cross drain that caused subsidence in the roadway. The scope included clearing the existing roadway and 2,500 CY of excavation, as well as installing 4,500 tons of stone, 56 LF of 24” RCP, two (2) headwalls, 250 tons of asphalt, and 1,600 SY of geo-grid. Striping and traffic control were also included in the project scope.
