Pettus Road and Blue Hole Road Roundabout
About This Project
Located in the Antioch area of Nashville, this project is a roadway construction and waterline relocation project consisting of a new one-lane roundabout at the intersection of Blue Hole Road and Pettus Road that serves as a gateway entrance into Orchard Bend Park. The scope included over 3,000 CY of road and drainage excavation, 1,950 CY of rock excavation, 3,800 CY of borrow material, 5,500 tons of stone placement, 1490 tons of asphalt, 325 LF of 18” RCP, 6,700 SF of concrete flatwork, 2,800 LF of concrete curbing, and 600 LF of 12” water main relocation, as well as extensive traffic control, striping, topsoil installation, and restoration.
